All travelers must have a visa for Tanzania.

You can obtain the Tanzania visa upon arrival at the airport in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

At the airport in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania you need to present the following:

1. Passport
2. Visa Application Form (available at airport and flight into Tanzania)
3. Two (2) passport photos
4. Cash for the visa fee (in US Dollars):

US Citizens:$100 (Multiple entry) for one year, 90 Days at a time
Non-US Citizens:$50 (Single entry) for 90 Days
Non-US Citizens:$100 (Double entry) for 90 Days each

Special Instructions:

Make sure you obtain the “Tourist” visa.
“Purpose of Journey” is “Tourism”.

You do not need a letter from Cosmic Volunteers or any entity in Tanzania.
Tanzania Immigration will place a visa sticker inside your passport.
