Wildlife and Animal Care Volunteering Abroad

Our Wildlife and Animal Care Volunteering Abroad program places volunteers at clinics and wildlife parks to support conservation efforts abroad. You will support the protection of natural landscapes, learn wildlife conservation techniques, as well as study and monitor native and endangered species.

You can volunteer on seasonal sea turtle conservation projects in Guatemala and Costa Rica. Volunteers collect sea turtle eggs on the beach, bury them in the hatchery, then assist in releasing mature hatchlings. In Kenya you can volunteer at a wildlife park assisting staff rangers with anti-poaching and education efforts. You can also volunteer at an elephant conservation camp in Thailand. There are also animal shelters where you can provide care for abandoned cats and dogs.
