Pretrip Process for Participants

Your First Steps
• Choose host country, program, and start/end dates
• Fill out Online Application
• Send deposit of $250
• Send your CV / Resume

Rest of Pretrip Process
(must complete at least 30 days before start date)
• Book flight
• Obtain Passport (valid for at least next 6 months)
• Obtain Visa (for Ghana, India, Kenya, Vietnam)
• Visit Travel doctor (for vaccinations and health advice)
• Yellow Fever Vaccination(Ghana only)
• Copy of Passport ID page
• Signed Participant Agreement
• Tell us any dietary requirements
• Tell us any medical conditions
• Register online with embassy
• Pay Full Balance of Program Fee

• Health Care Program
• HIV/AIDS Program
• Orphanage Program
• Teaching Program

Medical Volunteers
• Doctors and nurses must send us a copy of their medical or nursing license
• Medical and nursing students must send us a letter from their school advisor confirming enrollment status.
