Teaching in Peru

In Peru, the second language taught in all schools is English. Although this is a requirement for students, there is a chronic shortage of English teachers. Our volunteers spend time teaching children conversational English as well as assisting local teachers with lesson plans and teaching materials. There is a lot of creative freedom with your lessons. For example, you could teach a lesson about how to make a craft.
