HIV/AIDS Volunteering in Nairobi, Kenya
Summary
Volunteer in the area of HIV/AIDS in the capital city Nairobi.
Program Description
Our HIV/AIDS volunteers work with local organizations who are providing
HIV/AIDS education and support programs in local communities in
Kenya.
Our partner organizations and clinics prefer to have volunteers
with at least some experience in this field. However, those volunteers
with no experience but strong interest in making a difference are
most welcome, especially long-term volunteers.
Some of the activities for volunteers include: Promoting safer
sex through education and communications; providing caring and support
to those affected by HIV/AIDS; and participating in workshops, especially
in rural communities.
