Environment Education in Guatemala
Led by our local Coordinator, our volunteers work with primary
school students in the area of environmental education. The students'
activities include adopting a tree, recycling, planting trees, making
maps, measuring trees, identifying birds, etc. As a volunteer, your
responsibilities will include organizing classes, organizing resources
for classes, teaching, maintenance of museum and education center,
and outreach programs.
You do not need prior experience in conservation or environmental
studies. Our local Coordinator will train you on the issues facing
the local community as well as solutions to those issues.
